it’s kinda sad when you wake up at 1am realizing how you fucked things up, school,friends,love or else and you just sit there with your scarred body and a head full of guilt and suicidal thoughts while everybody is sleeping and you just sit there for hours and in the end you recognize that you’re all on your own

I really do.
My friend showed me recently the tattoo he’ll be getting soon, “family”, he told me that it wasn’t just for his blood, but also for me, and all of us (our friendship group), he told me I am his family. And it made me realize so much.
Every mistake and every moment in my life has lead me to them. I realize now that all the bad stuff I’ve been through and all the past friends who’ve left me happened for a reason.
Every curse and every vindictive person has been a blessing. The past helps me appreciate the present and these amazing people I’m surrounded by on a whole different level.
I feel so much love it makes me cry occasionally with thoughts of condemnable unworthiness.
But I do deserve them, as they deserve me.
We’re a family, a dysfunctional one at times, but none the less, family.
And I will love them and protect them until the day my veins turn blue.
